Hi all, we’ve opened our online TSS shop today. Please stop on by and check out our goodies. We’ve got a nice canvas tote, sturdy enough for going to the shops daily or for toting your books around. Posters from the last tour are available as well as a few different shirts.

Ahoj! We’re coming up quick to our next set of dates in the U.S. with a stop in Toronto as well.
There are tickets available for all the shows but many of them are soon to be sold out, so don’t wait much longer.

We are delighted to announce that we’ve got a very special guest with us for the New York Central Park and Boston Agganis Arena shows: Patty Griffin!

Artist Den DVD gets released in Ireland - Aug ‘08

Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova release their live DVD this month, which captures the duo’s November 2007 performance in an intimate Seattle venue.

Having already done brisk business in the States, The Swell Season: Live From The Artists Den DVD receives an Irish release on August 15.

Recorded in Seattle’s Good Shepherd Center Chapel shortly before Glen and Marketa won their Oscar, the 14-song set includes ‘Say It To Me Now’, ‘Lay Me Down’, ‘All The Way Down’, ‘This Low’, ‘When Your Mind’s Made Up’, ‘Lies’, ‘Drown Out’, ‘Falling Slowly’, ‘Golden’, ‘Pavement Tune’, ‘Once’, ‘If You Want Me’, ‘Concentric’ and ‘Star Star’.

Live DVD Release

Artists Den Live DVDWe’re pleased to announce today’s release of the first live DVD from the Swell Season, filmed at a special Artists Den concert at the Good Shepherd Center Chapel in Seattle last November. The DVD captures an intimate, private performance by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, backed by Joe Doyle and Colm Mac Con Iomaire of The Frames on bass and violin.

“The Swell Season: Live from the Artists Den” is available now, featuring over 30 minutes of bonus footage not included on the original television broadcast—including song introductions and interview clips from Glen, and performances of both Swell Season and Frames fan favorites.
